Rich's Support and resistance finder software

Rich's Support and Resistance Finder  is a very fast, very efficient way to calculate support and resistance levels on futures and stock charts.

It works with Gecko Charts v2.5, Track 'n Trade v3, TC2000, TCNet, CSI's "Unfair Advantage", Metastock...

...but the GOOD news is it now supports Quote.Com Real-Time On-Line Futures Charting Software. Yes ma'am, real-time streaming data for Daytraders.

Being able to accurately recognize support and resistance levels is one of the most important facets of technical analysis. Rich's TC2000 and TCNET Support and Resistance Finder is a terrific utility designed to take the guesswork out of defining floors and ceilings on any futures or stock chart. No room for uncertainty or mistakes!

It will quickly calculate support and resistance hits for any period in any chart, and serve them up in an easy to read and printable format so you can conveniently refer to them while studying your charts.

The following information is provided on each report:

  • The date of each hit

  • The Open, High Low and Close for each day upon which there was a hit

  • Whether the hit is support or resistance

  • It defines how many hits there were at each price, how many of those were at the High price and how many were at the Low price.

  • Volume and Open Interest numbers for the dates upon which the hits occurred

  • How many hits in total occurred within the date range you specified

You can custom specify the following for each stock:

  • You can choose the number of "hits" you want reported

  • You can specify a date range in which you want to calculate hits

  • You can choose a price range in which you want to calculate hits

  • You can choose how you want the reported data formatted

It literally takes seconds to calculate all the support and resistance  levels for the entire chart. This is a tremendous time saver, not to say a great help to those of us who have to squint at tiny chart ticks on a computer screen!

Take a look at a report screenshot below. I specified 4 or more hits at any given price, and gave it a date range for Jan to Dec in 2001.
