Getting a Great Futures Education

No matter what you do, you're going to get a very effective futures education the minute you start trading real money. It's not optional. So the best thing for you to do is use the time to learn all the basic stuff,  before you start flinging your money away.

The traditional way to get a futures education is to start with the freebie courses you find online. I can help you with this, as one of my websites lists all the free futures education resources I've found in my netly travels.

Bear in mind though that it's unrealistic to expect too much from a freebie futures education - not many traders have the time or expertise to put together a comprehensive trading course, nor would they want to take the time off their own trading to do so, unless there was sufficient financial incentive to sweeten the pie. Unless of course the guy is a saint.

After you slog your way through major information overload to say nothing of a bunch of conflicting theories, systems and methods and badly designed free material, you'll probably be desperate enough to look for a better futures education in the form of a decent course to purchase.

How does one go about locating a great resource for a top notch futures education? The best way to find a good product is word of mouth... what have your peers found to be helpful? You don't want something that is going to lead you out in left field and leave you hovering there staring at the stars with a stupid look on your face.

One very important factor to consider, and one that can elevate a futures education resource from mediocre to great, is customer service. You definitely want your teacher to exist, to acknowledge your existence, and to answer your questions promptly if and when you have any - ESPECIALLY after they've taken your money.

There's lots of exciting new technology appearing on the horizon, that promises to change the face of futures education forever. Now if we can just harass all the old fuddyduddies in the financial industry to try something new, we'll be in good shape.
