Commodity and Stock Brokers

Choosing a broker is a very personal thing. It helps a great deal to have a good relationship with your broker - if he feels like the enemy or if you feel like a chicken at a KFC outlet then you are best served by finding another broker.

The fees brokers charge vary quite substantially depending on how much hand holding you may require, anything from around $9 to $100 round turn (which is pretty darn steep to my way of thinking). Fees are usually re-negotiable the more experienced you become at placing your orders. Online order placing is not recommended for newcomers to commodity trading.
